Majlis began in a small atelier in Dubai with one idea: Gulf perfumery traditions, poured by hand and reimagined for the way we live now.

The first atelier
Layla opens a two-room studio in Alserkal Avenue and pours the first Midnight Oud by hand.
2016
To the source
First trip to the oud forests of Cambodia. We still buy from the same three growers.
2019
Taif in bloom
A partnership with rose farms in Taif brings fresh-distilled rose into every floral blend.
2022
Riyadh boutique
Our second home opens in Riyadh, with a blending bar for made-to-order scents.
